Bulma: The CSS Framework Taking Over!
Hey everyone, web dev’s buzzing about Bulma! Seriously, this framework’s blowing up. It’s been gaining traction, like crazy. I mean, over 50,000 GitHub stars? Wow. This thing’s huge.
Bulma’s history? Started in 2015, by some guy, Jonas. Belgian, I think? Anyway, it’s come a long way. Really impressive growth. It’s easy to use, super customizable, and responsive. What’s not to love?
What makes Bulma special? It’s utility-first! That’s the big deal. No pre-built components, mostly. You build with utility classes. It’s kinda genius, actually. But, it does have some pre-built stuff too. Buttons, tabs, that kinda thing. Handy! And, of course, it’s responsive. Works great on phones, tablets, everything. It’s also super customizable. You can really make it your own.
Bulma vs. others? Bootstrap’s different. More pre-built stuff. Tailwind’s utility-first, like Bulma. But Bulma’s got those pre-built components too. It’s a nice balance, I think.
Some cool projects use Bulma. Like Tights, a React wrapper. And, get this, Dragon Ball Fighter Z? Apparently, they used it! That’s pretty awesome.
Recent updates? Hit version 1.0 in 2022! Big deal. They added new components too. It’s constantly improving. It’s really exciting to see.
